Jamco Quest
Quest is a forward-facing seat in a staggered
layout (1-2-1 on a widebody), with curves and
surfaces designed to increase the occupant’s
perception of space. Privacy is a key factor of
the design, with high partitions in the centre
seats, blade partitions on the aisle seats, and
the option to add suite doors. However, the
centre partitions are fully stowable should the
occupants wish to create a honeymoon suite
with a double bed. Ample knee space has also
been created to enable passengers to move
around easily while in bed.
Quest boasts generous stowage space, with
sufficient room underneath the ottoman for
carry-on bags, and useful in-seat stowages,
including a semi-secure space under the armrest
for valuables.
Another feature that occupants will appreciate
is the tiltable IFE monitor, which enables a wide
range of viewing angles to help achieve the best
viewing angle, whether sitting or lying down.
The structure is based on an existing Jamco
seat platform with proven reliability, which will
help enable the company’s estimated launch and
certification timescale of 18 to 24 months once
the launch customer has been confirmed.
