BFE cushion system option, Aerofoam
can step in and offer a full turnkey cushion,
cover design and development solution.
This service is usually initiated at the ITCM
phase, when the airlines request a BFE
cushion/cover system.
Through this BFE approach, an airline
has much more freedom with cushion
comfort and dress cover design choices.
Aerofoam’s team of interior engineers
and cushion specialists work closely with
airline teams or their design agencies to
achieve their desired level of comfort and
aesthetics. Since starting this initiative,
Aerofoam has worked with many awardwinning
airlines, furthering their in-cabin
customer experience to a level previously
unattainable.
Due to the recent influx of Aerofoam’s
BFE projects, a dedicated process has
been put into place which allows Aerofoam

multiple airlines, while still delivering
