A IM A LTITUDE
GALLEY INNOVATION
Flexibility in design and operation are driving innovation in AIM Altitude’s
galley designs, including a sleek and highly functional new concept

entrance to wide-body aircraft,
with airlines looking to use the space for
social zones and to provide a welcoming
area that delivers brand recognition. The
galley area is, therefore, increasingly
having to perform a dual role.
Galleys are no longer the domain
of the crew alone; they are becoming
a destination area for passengers. In
response to this evolution of cabin use,
purpose and expectations, the design
and aesthetics of the galley are becoming
as important as its function.
Galleys still fulfil the fundamental
requirement to provide catering services
for passengers, but their functionality and
form is growing and progressing. Airlines
are looking for much more from a galley,
and AIM Altitude is driven to deliver new
and innovative solutions, both in terms of
the visual impact and also the amenities
and facilities on offer.
MORE THAN JUST CONCEPTS
AIM Altitude’s innovations are steered by
an emphasis on data. Flight research and
stakeholder insights from airlines, cabin
and ground crew, as well as from
passengers, are essential. These insights
provide the opportunities for improvement
and the creation of functional solutions
that suit the needs of airlines. AIM Altitude
has looked to create the concept galleys of
the future. Being a specialist in custom
and premium design, the company’s
galleys showcase a commitment to create
functional solutions for airlines that can be
implemented today. These designs are not
simply concept galleys of the future; parts
of the development work have already
been put into practice and are flying today.
THREE GENERATIONS OF

THE BASELINE GALLEY
AIM Altitude’s emphasis on creating a
new-generation baseline galley was upon
maintainability, durability and ease of
use. Combined with a simple and coherent
style, as well as new detailing, this
concept creates a modern interior look.
