The Citation CJ4’s standard interior
features six club seats, a front sidefacing
seat and a storage cabinet.
The latter two elements can be
replaced with an optional two-seater
couch and smaller storage cabinet.
The six leather seats have patterned
retractable armrests with lumbar
support and seat-side media docks.
The seats can be adjusted in three
directions and fully recline.
The cabin also features individual
temperature control zones, Rockwell
Collins’ Venue HD CMS/IFE,
retractable tables, a refreshment
centre, and an externally serviceable
lavatory as standard. Domestic or
international wi-fi is optional.
Customers can choose from the
same six standard schemes as on
the CJ3+, or customise the trim and
finishes from a range of materials.
The interior of the PC-24 was designed
in collaboration with BMW DesignWorks,
and it revolves around customisation,
with a flat floor, high ceilings and seats
that are quickly and easily removed to
reconfigure the layout according to the
customer’s preference.
There is an enclosed lavatory with
a sink and a storage room in the back,
with a movable partition. Pilatus offers
several pre-certified trim and finish
packages, including soft leathers and
“rare” hardwood cabinets.
“If a customer requests a specific
additional option that is not available
at this time, we will certainly consider
an investment to certify the option,”
comments Ignaz Gretener, vice president
of general aviation at Pilatus Aircraft.
“At the moment, we have several
requests for more variations of
furniture, for example.”
