HP FOR EDUCATION
PROGRAM SET TO
LAUNCH
CONSENNA, THE BUSINESS
consultancy specialising
in sales effectiveness
programmes for global IT
fi rms, has announced a major
new program for the HP for
Education (HPfE) scheme
when it launches its 2020
programme this year.
Entering its eighth year,
HP for Education is a trade-in
scheme allowing schools
and colleges across the UK
and Ireland to send in old
hardware and receive cash
or scheme credits towards
the purchase of new IT
solutions. It has given
several million pounds back
to schools in recent years.
However, increased attention
on the impact of technology
throughout learning
environments has meant
that the need to signifi cantly
expand and improve the
programme has become a
priority.
The programme is
supported by HP for
Education’s Channel
Partners, of which there
are currently 21, and it is
with that audience in mind
that Consenna has created
an entirely new sales
enablement programme.
Clearly IP enters Europe via VoIPon
CLEARLY IP, A US based
company, who specialises
in Telecommunications, has
announced they have launched
their range of IP Phones and PBX
appliances into Europe as part of
an agreement with UK distributor
VoIPon Solutions.
Preston McNair, CRO at Clearly
IP, spoke about the launch
“Having worked with both Richard
and VoIPon in the past we knew
this would be a good fi t for the
ClearlyIP brand and I’m excited
about launching these products to
the European market.”
Recently appointed Director of
Sales for Europe, Richard Smith
(pictured), also commented on
the launch “As soon as I got the
fi rst samples on my desk, I knew
the Phones would work well
here in the UK and beyond. The
fact they can be easily branded
with the Reseller’s logo at a
much smaller order quantity
than you would usually fi nd
would be enough but the ease of
implementation using our Cloud
Device Manager makes them an
obvious choice for resellers.”
