working career so far.
I’d like to thank the team for their continued e orts to make Comms

the market during this period.
I must particularly thank Miles Bossom (founder of Comms Business)
for bringing me into this fantastic market back in 2012 and more recently
the Mark Allen Group, after they acquired us in 2017, for helping me
realise my potential by placing me in the position of Publisher.
Most of all, I would like to thank YOU, our readers. is market is
full of brilliant business, sales and technical people who all contribute to
making the Channel a dynamic place to be. May your success continue.

We are sad to lose David and he leaves with all our blessings and best wishes for the future. Thank
you too David for all your hard work and support over all these years.
It is with great pleasure that I will be taking over the role of Publisher. With 14 year’s experience
of working on the Comms Business brand and all its platforms, I have seen a lot of changes for the
team and also within the market.
The ability to adapt and develop our brand and its extensions quickly to refl ect changes is what
has kept Comms Business at the pinnacle.
Whilst we say goodbye to David, we say hello to a new structure and a new team and I am
delighted to announce our new Comms Business Editor Charlotte Hathway, who will also shortly be
ably supported by new writers yet to be announced.
Charlotte comes to us from her previous role as Editor for Land Mobile and Critical
Communications Today magazines and brings with her a fresh view, along with a talent for writing
excellent stories and articles.
Moh Lalani is also stepping into my old shoes as Sales Director. Moh has been with the team for 3
years and has duly earned this promotion with his creative and professional approach.
I’d also like to announce as new to the team our Comms Business Support Executive Phil Glover,
who has spent recent years, assisting with our exhibition Channel Live.
More about the new team in this issue.
Exciting times ahead, I can assure you. Keep an eye on the magazine and our digital platforms and
join us on the journey as our next Chapter unfolds…
