EVENTS Golf Society
Justin Blaine (l) with Vincent Disneur
e winner: Dave Hawkins (r), here with
Henry West
The beautiful St. Georges
Hill provided society
members with a
challenging last game of
the season which saw eager
golfers start their rounds with
high hopes. An unforgiving
course combined with tricky
weather conditions which
descended halfway through the
event meant the winning score
was likely to be low.
Nearest the Pin went to
long time society member
Justin Blaine, Sales Manager
of NTA. e man with the
muscles was Mark Maclure,
Stream Comms, who took
home the Longest Drive on
the day.
e top prize, and the one
everyone was playing for was
of course Channel Golfer of
the Year. e three members
in contention were Dave
Hawkins, Kcom, Dean Gaunt,
Invosys, and Paul Taylor,
Mark Maclure (r) with Paul Taylor
Showdown at
St. Georges Hill
The Comms Business Golf Society Grand Finale concluded at
St. Georges Hill last month which saw the top scoring Channel

Golfer of the Year
Voice ex. When the dust
settled it was Dave Hawkins
who walked away with trophy
29 points. Gaunt came in
second with Taylor close
behind in third. Well done!
