MANUFACTURING MANAGEMENT SHOW 2020 JANUARY 2020
A TEAM SPORT
The Manufacturing Management Show returns for 2020 with a new home,
a new partner event, but the same focus on quality and thought-leadership
Teamwork, as the kids today say, makes
the dream work. It’s no surprise, then,
that the return of the Manufacturing
Management Show (MMS) has been built
on the back of collaboration between two
of the industry’s leading publications.
After two years at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena, 2020
will see MMS move to the spacious surroundings
of the National Exhibiton Centre, Birmingham,
from 9-11 June.
For the fi rst time, MMS is being co-located
with the long-established Subcon and The
Engineer Expo, following the purchase in June
2019 of The Engineer magazine by the Mark Allen
Group, publishers of Manufacturing Management
The show will draw on the
combined 200+ years of heritage
of Manufacturing Management
and The Engineer to provide
a world-class exhibition and
speaker line-up, as well as
practical, hands-on workshop
sessions to reinforce the
learning experience.
The Manufacturing
Management Show provides a
one-stop shop for everything
busy manufacturing leaders
need to improve effi ciencies at
their plant. From maintenance
Some of the
industry’s
biggest suppliers
will be exhibiting
their latest
products and
services at MMS
to materials handling, CI to
skills, IT to health & safety,
MMS showcases topics which
traditionally have had their own
bespoke trade shows, and brings
them all under one roof.
“In spite of Brexit pressures
and other ongoing political
turmoil (see p16), the UK’s
manufacturing industry
continues to punch well above
its weight,” comments Chris
Beck, editor of Manufacturing
Management magazine.
“The UK is the ninth largest
and organisers of MMS.
