MANUFACTURING MANAGEMENT SHOW MARCH 2020
SPEAKING OUT
Sustainability, supply chain and skills form the bedrock of a world-class speaker
line-up as the Manufacturing Management Show heads to the NEC for 2020
The conference programme for the
2020 Manufacturing Management Show
(MMS) can now be revealed. With only a
handful of speaking slots yet to be fi lled,
the line-up already includes a masterclass
in engaging your workforce in lean
manufacturing, tips on building a brand allegiance
on the shopfl oor and a panel discussion exploring
novel ways of bridging the skills gap.
MMS will take place from 9-11 June at the
NEC in Birmingham, and is designed to
provide best-practice advice to today’s senior
manufacturing leaders, covering everything from
continuous improvement to post-Brexit trade
barriers. As well as the thought-leader conference
sessions, some of the industry’s biggest suppliers
will be exhibiting their products and services as
part of an engaging and informative trade show.
A number of hands-on workshops will bring these
products to life, giving delegates the chance to
experience virtual reality, learn more about ERP
systems and much, much more.
Co-location benefi ts
For the fi rst time, MMS is being co-located with
the long-standing Subcon show, the primary event
for the subcontract manufacturing market, and
the Engineer Expo. Run by the team behind The
Engineer magazine, the two events bring over 350
exhibitors and 4,000 visitors from across the UK’s
manufacturing and engineering sector, adding
signifi cant weight to MMS.
Delegates to MMS will also
be able to attend the worldclass
conference sessions at the
Engineer Expo, which include
speakers from the AMRC,
Rolls-Royce and the University
of Nottingham. The conference
will be focused on the future
of the industry, looking at how
changing technologies will
impact the manufacturing and
engineering sectors.
“The high calibre of speakers
already on the bill for MMS 2020
demonstrates the importance of
this event, and its sister event,
Subcon, for the market,” says
