The expanding global network of 50
locations is continually transforming
itself to ensure it provides the common
look, feel and high standard of service
and performance that assures every
traveler they are about to experience
the VIP treatment they have become
accustomed to anticipate when they stop
at a Jet Aviation FBO. This key philosophy
is embedded throughout the company’s
culture.
“We want our customers to know
they will find the same flawless, premium
service and state-of-the-art facility at
every Jet Aviation FBO around the
world, no matter where their business
or leisure travels take them,” said
president David Paddock. “Our goal is
not to be everywhere, but to be where
our customers are and to be there with
a consistent level of performance that
unmistakably says, ‘Welcome to
Jet Aviation.’”
The company’s FBO network grew
significantly with the acquisition of Hawker
Pacific across Australia and Asia in May
last year, followed by the KLM Jet Center
businesses in Amsterdam and Rotterdam
in October. Before that, the company
established ground-handling services
at Prince Abdul Mohsin Bin Abdulaziz
Regional Airport in Yanbu, Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia.
The future
This year the company is further
expanding in the Americas. The network
in the United States is not only growing
through acquisition, most recently in
Scottsdale, Arizona, where construction of
an FBO and hangar will begin soon, but
is also expanding, building and renovating
current design standards from coast to
coast. Seven major projects are underway
– or soon will be – at some of its 12 prime
locations in the U.S. and Caribbean.
A groundbreaking in Palm Beach,
Florida in May marked construction of a
40,000ft hangar with 10,000ft of office
space, all adjacent to a new operations
center for sister company Gulfstream. The
facilities are scheduled to open mid-2020.
A completely new facility at Van Nuys,
California will begin operation later this
year. With everything under one roof to
replace eight older structures, the new
FBO will include 10,000ft of customerservice
area meeting the latest Jet design
and functional standards. The hangar
has 42,000ft plus 10,000ft of office
space, all adjacent to a new Gulfstream
operations center with 40,000ft of hangar

A VIP service
No matter where in the world a business traveler steps into a
Jet Aviation FBO, they know to expect a familiar experience
that says quietly but confidently, “Welcome to Jet Aviation”
space and 20,000ft for offices.
Interior renovations at Teterboro, New
Jersey, will bring the FBO to design
and finish standards while construction
finishes on a 40,000ft hangar and tenantoffice
space.
Significant FBO renovations at
Dallas, Texas, should be complete in
the fourth quarter to provide an entirely
new experience for customers and crew.
In San Juan, Puerto Rico, a 20,000ft
hangar replacing one destroyed by
Hurricane Maria in 2017 will open soon
with 2,500ft for offices.
Jet Aviation’s FBO facility and service
improvements support the company’s
mission to be one of the world’s leading
business-aviation providers. Jet Aviation
has more than 4,600 employees at 50
facilities throughout Europe, the Middle
East, Asia-Pacific, North America, and
the Caribbean. In addition to FBO and
fuel services, the company provides
maintenance, VIP completions and
refurbishment, and engineering, along
with personnel services and aircraft
management and charter services
operating a fleet of some 300 aircraft.
