CLAAS JAGUAR 990 FORAGE HARVESTER
As part of its new 900-series forage harvester lineup,
Claas will be presenting the Jaguar 990 as its
top-of-the-range model this November, taking its
maximum engine output available in the series to an
impressive 925 hp/680 kW. e machine also boasts
Terra Trac crawler tracks and a new control concept
with Cebis Touch.
“ e Claas Jaguar 990 Terra Trac o ers
maximum throughput, high traction, low ground
compaction and, based on tests, the best fuel
e ciency on the market,” says Joerg Wesselmann, a
product manager for Claas’s Jaguar range. “With the
990 we give contractors and farmers a forage
harvester for all-year round use. e unique Terra
Trac system propels the vehicle at speeds of up to
40km/h on the road and protects the eld headland
via the li ing of the front wheels during turning.”
Operating the 990 Jaguar is intuitive. e new
touchscreen-display version of the user-friendly
Cebis gives the user fast and easy access to all the
machine functions, meaning even new operators
can handle the machine safely and reliably in a very
short time. e most important adjustments can be
made directly by means of switches on the armrest.
A simple tap on the touchscreen and the new Cebis
terminal reacts by providing direct access to all
machine functions.
