Ideal for original equipment manufacturers that
are looking to downsize, the new engine offers
signifi cant machine productivity benefi ts with a 15%
increase in power, 10% more torque and a 5-10%
reduction in fuel consumption.
The 1204J-E44 is available as a turbocharged
after-cooled (TA) or as a twin turbocharged after
cooled (TTA) model. The new engine includes
after-treatment upgrades to ensure transparent
regeneration so machine performance is not
impacted, delivering a service-free system and
maximum uptime.
Perkins Stage V technologies have been
fi eld-tested over millions of hours and are designed to
help customers meet emission standards while also
having a positive impact on the engine’s power,
torque, reliability and durability. Typical applications
for the 1204J engine – which is built in Peterborough,
UK – include compact construction machines,
industrial equipment, agriculture, ground support and
a wide range of other equipment.
