Rigby sells FluidOne to Livingbridge
“Making our SBC SWe Lite available in the
Microsoft Azure Marketplace not only is another
major step forward in our cloud investment
strategy, but more importantly it helps our
customers evolve their communications
capabilities to the cloud quickly and conveniently,”
said Kevin Riley, Chief Technology Offi cer for Ribbon.
“In addition to being very intuitive and easy to
deploy, our certifi ed Microsoft solution provides
advanced voice, media and security at what we

RIGBY GROUP HAS sold connectivity aggregator FluidOne to Livingbridge
for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2006 by Piers Daniell (pictured), the Rigby Group initially
invested in Fluidata in 2015. Following the investment, Fluidata acquired
OnePoint, a voice and mobile specialist, creating FluidOne in 2016, at
which point Rigby Group became the sole owner of the enlarged business.
The business is now headed up by Russell Horton (CEO), Hemant
Patel (CFO) and co-founder Chris Rogers (COO). Piers Daniell, previously
Chairman of FluidOne, steps down as part of this transaction, as does
Steven Rigby, Rigby Group COO and John Taylor, Rigby Group executive.
Steven Rigby, Group Chief Operating Offi cer, said: “We believe
Livingbridge has a great business to take forward in the next chapter
of its development and one which operates in the dynamic and fastgrowing
market of IOT, Cloud and mobility connectivity. During our time
with the business we have seen it scale up, delivering strong fi nancial
performance while maintaining its collaborative culture. We wish the
leadership team all the very best for the future.”
Russell Horton, CEO of FluidOne, added “We have demonstrated
impressive growth over recent years and have signifi cant ambition for
the future, so it’s very pleasing to have Livingbridge’s support as we
look to exploit the numerous opportunities and develop a strong M&A
pipeline in this expanding market.”
