BODEN TO HEAD GAMMA’S
CHANNEL IN THE NORTH
GAMMA HAS RECENTLY appointed Mark Boden (pictured)
as Head of Channel – North. The new role will see Mark
overseeing partner relationships for the North and
managing the team responsible for around 300 channel
partners.
He joins the team from Daisy Partner Services where he
developed relationships with some of the largest network
and system integrators in the UK. Previously he has also
held senior sales and account management positions with a
number of companies selling core data & telephony services.
Commenting on the appointment, he says:
“I’m delighted to be taking on this new position at
Gamma; the northern regions of the UK house over 300 of
our valued channel partners, a huge proportion of Gamma’s
partner base. Our northern partners are very engaged and
I’m really looking forward to building strong, long-term
working relationships with our partner base here.”

Abzorb appoints ex-Vodafone
veteran Matt Dykes
FORMER VODAFONE AND O2 Head of ISP, Matt Dykes (pictured), joins
multi-million-pound telecoms business Abzorb Systems as Chief
Commercial Offi cer as the company bolsters its senior team following
record growth in 2018.
Matt joins following a 20-year career in the wholesale telecoms
industry at Vodafone and O2.
Matt said: “This is a hugely exciting time to join Abzorb. The company
has consistently posted double digit growth over the past three years
and my goal is to make sure this organic expansion continues.
“The hosted telecoms technology and customer-centric approach at
Abzorb is in their DNA and my goal is to transform the company from a
commercial perspective.
“The opportunities to grow around our network-agnostic mobile
offering and replace legacy systems architecture with cloud-based
technology is huge. Our product roadmap refl ects this and we are
looking forward to launching exciting new products and services
throughout 2019 and beyond.”

James Craner has joined swcomms as
its new fi nancial director. He brings with
him 24 years of senior management and
strategic experience. He will replace
Harry Langley as fi nancial director,
who has become the business’s group

position of Advanced Solutions Managing
Director, UK and Ireland. Following the
move, James Reed has been promoted to
Managing Director, Endpoint Solutions,

Michael joins Wireless Logic as the
organisation continues on its rapid
growth both organically and through a

Pangea invests in 5G talent
PANGEA’S 5G PROJECT has hit the next
stage—they’ve recruited a System
Architect, Dr Arslan Usman (pictured),
to head up the project from their
London HQ.
At the start of this year, Pangea
launched their joint 5G Project
alongside Kingston University
and Innovate UK with the goal of
developing a world-fi rst: enhanced
video compression and data transfer
capabilities over 5G connectivity.

evolution of the world’s cellular
networks,” Dr Usman said. “My role
as System Architect is an exciting
one, as we have an ambitious agenda
