Enreach - UCaaS domination?
Comms Business attended the Centile Customer Summit last month after there were some hints there would
be some pretty big news from the parent company Within Reach Group. David Dungay pottered down to the
south of France to learn how this fast growing company planned to make an impact in Europe
The Centile Customer
Summit was a special
occasion this year. Why? It
was its rst since the Within
Reach Group, comprising of
Swyx and Voiceworks, acquired
the UC provider. Partners
and customers were expecting
big news and the event didn’t
disappoint.
Stijn Nijhuis, CEO of
Enreach, spoke at the event about
the importance of having local
presence in each target market
rather than trying to apply a

the UK an important strategic

Announcements
• New brand – Given the
disparate nature of the group
after several acquisitions
Within Reach decided they
needed a new consolidated
brand to take to Europe. CEO
Stijn Nijhuis announced on
stage that the name Enreach
would be more tting and
help the company achieve its
ambitious growth plan.
• Network Telecom – e UK
out t focused in the Midlands
has been acquired giving
Enreach a solid footprint in a
competitive market. Serving
over 2,000 customers Network
Telecom has been experiencing
revenue growth of over 10 per
cent year-on-year and now
has an annual revenue of over
£17 million. e company
now joins Crystal Networks,
ipnordic, Centile, Voiceworks
and Swyx.
• Project In nity – With
multiple acquisitions comes
multiple headaches, in this
case it’s a platform problem…
they have too many! Project
In nity will be an ongoing
project to consolidate and
integrate platforms to enable
Enreach to harness the power
and expertise of the various
business units.
• Contact Magic – e phrase
‘Contact Magic’ came up time
and time again throughout the
event. For Enreach this phrase
captures their philosophy to
create solutions and not copy
what is already out there to
create real di erentiation.
FROM THE ANALYST
MATT TOWNEND, DIRECTOR – CAVELL GROUP
BEWARE WORKFORCE CHANGES!
“We are in a period of unprecedented growth, we are seeing 40 per
cent growth in in France, we’re seeing numbers like 30 per cent and
25 per cent in other markets too. But what we are seeing is some
other things happening. In France, 69 per cent of our enterprise
survey, which was from 200 enterprises in France, said they already
offer remote working which was allowing people to work outside of
the offi ce for at least two days per week. That is growing by about 10
to 15 per cent in the next couple of years. We are also seeing massive
growth in subcontractors, 57 per cent of French businesses are
already using them.
So we’ve suddenly got people are in our offi ces, who don’t work
directly for us and we’re increasing remote working. The other
thing which is increasing is automation. Businesses are looking to
automate to reduce the number of roles (36 per cent).
If you’re going to have all these this changing workforce, you’re
going to have to think about mobility. Mobility is about how we make
the experience better at work for users who are going mobile.”
