KEB drive controllers support
the implementation of new
machine concepts with extended

requirements in the area of control,
visualisation and machine safety.
In addition to the Combivert H6
and F6 drive controllers for fully
electric machine solutions, KEB also
offers the function of a servo pump
control for hybrid machine solutions.
The adjustment of the pump speed in
the partial load range and outside the
machine cycle in combination with
a volume flow or pressure control
directly via the pump system offers
up to 70 per cent energy saving
potential in hydraulic systems. When
the pump is operated according to
requirements, noise emissions are
reduced by up to 20 dB(A).
Highly dynamic control is
acheived with the DL4 motor series,
which is matched to KEB’s drive
controllers. This is characterised
by a low mass moment of inertia in
conjunction with an internal gear
pump, for example. Thanks to the
control parameters of the servo pump
integrated in the Combivert F6, the
cycle times of the actuators can be
significantly reduced. By working
closely with hydraulics experts, KEB
has also developed effective tools
and auto-tuning functions, which help
to reduce system commissioning,
which in turn reduces operating costs
and time. !
KEB Automation is seeing an increase
in demand for its range of threephase
motors and geared motors.
This demand is coming from a variety
of industry sectors, including plastics
and packaging machines, automotive
production and textile machinery.
In combination with KEB’s control
systems and drive controllers, the
motors form an optimised system

Robust work machines designed
for use in a wide range of
applications and are optionally
available with a brake, encoder
and forced ventilation, etc. They
form the basis for the KEB-Drive
selection software for industrial
drive motor configuration.

High dynamics for speeds up
to 8,000rpm and rated peak
torques of at least 500% are the
characteristic qualities of the
Dynamic Line permanent magnet
servo motors. They are equipped
with a robust resolver or a high
resolution single or multi-turn
absolute encoder for position
feedback plus an optional holding
brake.
