Atos and RingCentral introduce
co-branded UCaaS solution
ATOS AND RINGCENTRAL will enter
into a System Integrator (SI)
relationship and will introduce a
co-branded UCaaS solution. The
co-branded solution will be a key
part of Atos’ Digital Workplace
client and partner offer,
complementing its existing
OpenScape UC solutions.
“We are excited to welcome
Atos as our fi rst global Systems
Integrations partner, creating
opportunities for RingCentral to
Vlad Shmunis, founder, chairman
provide our global cloud
and CEO, RingCentral
communications platform to large, marquee customers in Atos’
digital transformation practice,” said Vlad Shmunis, founder,
chairman and CEO, RingCentral. “Atos provides a new dimension of
long-term growth as we continue to lead the charge in UC to UCaaS
transformation with our unwavering commitment to innovation and
strong culture of strategic partnerships.”
Elie Girard, CEO of Atos said, “With an Atos installed base ranging
across large enterprises and governmental agencies, we are excited
about the potential of the new strategic partnership.”
Along with this strategic partnership, RingCentral will acquire IP
from Atos, including a portfolio of certain patents.
When asked about mutual Channel Partners Atos released a
statement saying “While the immediate Atos / RingCentral

choice for our direct customers, our structured partner offer will
become available later in the year. However, interested partners
should contact their local points of contact who will facilitate an
early adopter approach with the channel cloud team.”
VOIPCLOUD WAIVES MICROSOFT TEAMS
INTEGRATION FEES
VOIP PROVIDER VOIPCLOUD has furthered its quest to super charge
the adoption of voice through MS Teams by announcing that it will be
waiving its Microsoft Teams integration fee. Believing other Telcos
should also do this to encourage businesses to go with Resellers
rather than Microsoft for voice over teams.
Managing Director Mark Whitehead (pictured) said “We didn’t see
the logic of taxing customers to access PBX features via MS Teams
when they are already paying for Microsoft licences or MS Phone
system add on. It’s crucial that we make it attractive for the end
users & reseller to take full PBX features through a mature VoIP
solution and not feel they have to take a Microsoft call plan & miss
out on real PBX functionality because of price.”
Scott Riley, Managing Director of
Cloud Nexus said “It’s fantastic to
see VoIPCloud empowering
Microsoft Cloud Service Providers
with a fully featured offering for
Enterprise Voice on Teams. The
ability to quickly and easily provide
not just enterprise voice but
complex call routing, call recording
and contact centre functionality is
outstanding. VoIPCloud
understand what the reseller
channel needs and have brought it
all together i Managing Director Mark Whitehead n one simple portal”
