England takes on Nuvias CEO role
NUVIAS HAS APPOINTED Simon England (pictured) as its new
CEO. England is tasked to take Nuvias into the next phase of its
development.
His previous role saw England lead the development of new
business segments and models for Tech Data as SVP Next Generation
Technologies, after considerably expanding the company’s
value businesses, under the Azlan, Datech and Maverick brands,
across Europe as SVP Value Added Business. England will take full
operational control as CEO as of April 1st, 2019, reporting into the
Nuvias Group Board.
Paul Eccleston, who will take the position of Executive Chairman
of Nuvias Group, retaining responsibility for Vendor and Corporate
Strategy, commented: “This is a very exciting step in the development
of Nuvias and will enable us to move forward under Simon’s
leadership to fully realise the enormous opportunity for Nuvias over
the months and years to come.”

RUCKUS TAKES ON LAW AS VP OF
EMEA SALES
RUCKUS NETWORKS HAS
welcomed Eric Law (pictured) as
Vice President of EMEA Sales. In
this role, he will be responsible
for leading marketing, sales,
and operations throughout the
region.
“Eric is a highly-regarded
industry leader who
strategically supports partner,
enterprise and channel
communities to drive business
success,” said Bart Giordano, Sr.
Vice President, Worldwide Sales.
“We’re confi dent that Eric will
help grow our existing efforts
in EMEA, and we’re excited to
welcome him to the Ruckus

Eric previously spent more
than 17 years with Cisco
driving results and scaling the
business in enterprise and
channel leadership positions.
He later joined Purple to lead its
worldwide sales operations.

New MD at Glide
GLIDE HAS APPOINTED current Director of Sales and Marketing James
Warner (pictured) as its new Managing Director of its business arm.
Warner was previously at telecoms giant KCOM for 7 years before
moving to Glide in April 2017. He has been with the business for
almost two years in his current role and now embarks on a new
challenge within the business to support its expansion plans.
Glide Business, an internet service provider based in the Midlands
previously known as Warwicknet, has grown from a
local provider to a national player, almost tripling
its coverage from 34,000 to 100,000 within
reach of its fi bre network. The business
is investing heavily in its growth,
doubling the number of employees from
40 to over 80 in the last 12 months.
James commented: “I am delighted
