NIMANS RE-BRANDS NETWORK SERVICES TO
BEYOND CONNECTIVITY
‘BEYOND CONNECTIVITY’ IS an exciting new rebrand
of Nimans Network Services – and is ‘going further’
to make connectivity simpler.
“We are thinking beyond today by offering next
generation services based on our Simplified network
services proposition. It’s an exciting new era and a
bold vision for the future,” says Graham Wilkinson,
Head of Sales, Beyond Connectivity.
Beyond Connectivity encompasses cloud
communications (hosted pbx), mobile, networking
(inc broadband) plus services working with big name
brands such as BT, EE, Vodafone, O2 and TalkTalk.
The rebrand gives ‘Beyond’ its own identity and
web presence to differentiate itself and provide a
distinctive voice in the market.
Wilkinson continued, “Following a detailed
brand review we decided to adopt a new strategy.
Our new name and brand identity has been guided
by reason. Seriously considered and meticulously
planned.”

TOTEM BRINGS BUSINESS HEALTH CHECK TO THE
CHANNEL WITH COMMS BUSINESS
TOTEM AND MA Business has signed a landmark deal
to ensure readers of Comms Business and Technology
Business Today have access to a revolutionary new
business analysis tool. Totem has created an online
Business Health Check which allows channel businesses to
identify weaknesses in their operations via a simple survey.
In a market which is constantly evolving some traditional
businesses often find it hard to transition, or perhaps
some have grown rapidly leaving unidentified gaps in the
organisation. Derek Owen, CEO of Totem Consulting Group,
signed a partnership agreement with Jon Benson, COO
of Mark Allen Business at the 2019 Channel Live event in
Birmingham last week.
The health check takes 10 mins to complete and provides
an easy to read snapshot of how healthy “your” business is
against six key business principles.
Derek Owen commented, “This is something every
business should be doing, regardless whether it is going
well or not. The survey will offer insight into the business
which is difficult to achieve when you are running the ship
day to day.”
Panasonic launches UC-Line in
collaboration with Blueface
PANASONIC HAS LAUNCHED its first fully integrated cloud
communication platform, called UC-Line. UC-Line combines
Panasonic’s range of SIP phone units with voice over IP, video
conferencing and a powerful suite of unified communications
tools. The service is available today in France and Spain, through
Panasonic’s extensive channel partner network, with other
European markets rolling out in early 2020.
Businesses can connect multiple office locations and remote
workers; customise numbers, users, permissions and devices to
match their needs and receive free upgrades and maintenance
automatically pushed through the cloud platform – eliminating the
need for on-site servers and expensive call outs.
Carlos Osuna, Head of Business Unit at Panasonic
Communications Solutions, said “Panasonic has built its legacy on
innovation and UC-Line is a truly world class, integrated cloud UC
offering for our European partners and customers. The strategic
technology partnership with Blueface delivers a best-in-class
unified communications solution seamlessly integrated to our SIP
device and PBX product portfolio.”
