called Headline across Publicis Groupe UK. We are
encouraging healthy conversations and on
10 October we gave all employees World Mental
Health Day off to give them time to focus
on themselves.

I oversaw the acquisition of four agencies
and integrated them into our UK business. This
formed the foundation and structure of the business

This was my fi rst permanent HR role. I learned the
ropes in this generalist role and undertook a wide
range of activities. It was here I learned about the
Financial Services Act and compliance from a
recruitment and employment perspective.

I was lucky enough to be offered a one-year
placement while at university. I worked in the
headquarters in Luton, although a large part
of the year was spent out and about
working on undergraduate and graduate
recruitment programmes.

I walked into Brixton Jobcentre in 1988 and said
that I needed a job. After talking they asked if I
would like to work there. I went back during
university holidays and worked at Stockwell, then
Vauxhall Jobcentres.
