Colour-coded logos were placed at the entrances of the carriages,
corresponding to important amenities including a bike storage

Correspondingly coloured lines show clear routes to find these
areas, which means that passengers entering the carriage have
clear and easily visible signposting to follow to reach areas of

opportunities are open to train operators to make flooring work
in new and unprecedented ways,” he says. “When it comes to
your next review of your vehicles, consider how flooring might
be used innovatively not just in terms of colour, but with cutting
and intelligent design, to enhance the satisfaction of the
passengers travelling on your services.
