BARCLAY TAKES ON MD ROLE AT 9 GROUP
STEVE BARCLAY HAS returned to
the channel with a new role as
MD of the Networks Division at 9

in 2019.
Taking the opportunity to
enjoy a well-earned “gap year,”
Steve embarked on a dream
itinerary of bucket list locations
including Everest Base Camp
and a tour of China, including
trekking a section of The Great
Wall, before undertaking a solo
train odyssey around India.
Commenting on his reasons
for joining 9, Steve (pictured)
cited business culture as a very
important factor for him, “one of
my proudest achievements at
Entanet was helping to create a
vibrant success culture, so a
key attraction for me was the
overwhelmingly positive
attitude of everyone I had ever
met at 9 towards their business.
This was a culture that I knew I
would enjoy working in and
James’ vision and energy can
be equally persuasive.”
