P erforming art centers of all sizes

performances. One of the key
elements is the overall structure of
the venue – primarily the acoustic construction
for musicians and other performers.
The Bravado acoustic shell from Staging
Concepts was designed with supreme elegance
in mind. The shell is designed to be highly
customizable, making it suitable for venues
large and small, and various acoustic needs.
The Bravado system is used for both acoustic
mobile towers and ceiling panels or canopies.
Recently the Bravado was selected for a
multipurpose community theater at St Croix
Central High School in Hammond, Wisconsin,
USA. To construct this theater’s shell system,
seven acoustic towers and three ceiling rows
were utilized. Multiple concerts are hosted at the
venue throughout the year, therefore a supreme
acoustic setting was needed, offering durability
and ease of use.
Frequent use
“There are roughly 15 concerts per school year
where the school’s theater is utilized,” says
Randall Pfeifer, auditorium manager at St Croix
Central High School. “For the 2018-2019 school
year use will be even greater.”
The Bravado acoustic shell is typically selected
for spaces that require a full-stage acoustic shell
system. Its mobile towers, comprised of movable
panel wings that lock into place, are designed to
