With less than one hour left to turn the plane around before the
airport closes and somebody has to inform 250 passengers that
they won’t be departing tonight, NDT-systems with time-consuming
start-up and calibration routines can be a costly affair.
We developed the dolphicam2 platform with a fast-track mindset;
an NDT-system that is both faster and easier to use while providing
much more data. The system boots fast, and you are ready to
inspect and assess the impact of damage within minutes. We have
kept the system small and lightweight; it’s easy to carry and can
access difficult areas.
dolphicam2 is more than just a visible improvement of the
first-generation dolphicam*; it is significantly more powerful and
can in addition to CFRP be used on GFRP, titanium, aluminium,
steel, iron, glass, nylon and many other materials including
multi-materials such as glare. dolphicam2 comes with Full Matrix
Capture and Total Focusing Method, and all data can be exported.
dolphicam2 transducer module has a matrix array with 16,384
elements scanning up to 100 frames per second — providing live
high-resolution images of A-, B-, C-scans (amplitude and time of
flight) as well as 3D of the actual spot you are inspecting. Meaning
you can give a «go or no-go» even before the passengers have
started boarding, and save time where time literally is money.
