Next generation
telemetry
AEROSPACETESTINGINTERNATIONAL.COM // SEPTEMBER 85
The telemetry sector’s annual forum
and technical exhibition ITC 2019
returns to Las Vegas this year. The wellestablished
event, which is sponsored
by the International Foundation for
Telemetering (IFT), a non-profit corporation
dedicated to serving the technical and
professional interests of the telemetering
community, is now in its 55th year.
Running for three and a half days the event
includes a series of technical presentations,
tutorials, and short courses arranged in
concurrent sessions. The conference is
complemented by a technical exhibition area
that features the latest-technology product
demos and displays from more than 100
industry suppliers.
DIGITAL SKILLS
The main theme at this year’s conference is
how to cultivate the next generation of range
engineers. Range engineers have to provide
reliable and secure data, so data links and
networks will continue to be a concern for
the next generation. But digital skills are
also increasingly required on ranges, for
example areas such as data analysis, digital
networks and cybersecurity. This and other
issues, such as if there is a sufficient supply
of skilled engineers to meet future needs and
how to attract graduates to ranges will be
discussed during the keynote.
Immediately after the keynote address on
Tuesday morning, the two exhibit halls will
open. Exhibitors from across the telemetry
spectrum will be available to demonstrate
how their products and services can help
you address the issues you may be facing.
Meanwhile, over one hundred technical
presentations on all facets of telemetry
system design, implementation and
operation will be presented in the technical
program on Tuesday afternoon, all day
Wednesday, and Thursday morning.
The unique relationship between the
telemetry manufacturing community and
users in both government and industry
always produces yearly events that lead to
continued advancements of the telemetering
and instrumentation systems/equipment
we rely on today, as well as the continuing
education of telemetering professionals
worldwide. These year promises to be
no different.
If you are involved with any kind
of aerospace, vehicular, biomedical,
meteorological, or industrial telemetry
applications, then you belong at ITC
2019. This premier forum brings together
customers, suppliers, academics, and the
engineering community to discuss how
technology is revolutionizing the field.
WHY ATTEND?
ITC 2019 presents an unprecedented
