INSOLVENCIES RATE LOWEST IN THREE YEARS
CREDIT SAFE HAS published May’s insolvency
fi gures for the UK which shows the lowest levels
for the last three years! However, once the
economy restarts this is expected to change as
those companies that are solely propped up by
government funding will likely not survive a slow
recovery.
Key fi nding from the latest report include:
• A total of 1,155 companies became insolvent –
the lowest monthly fi gure in three years.
• The total number of insolvencies fell by 19%
snom and 3CX offer tailored UC
solutions with M900
SNOM HAS LAUNCHED M900 base station will be part of the next 3CX
update.
Large, complex sites, such as modern offi ces, hospitals, industrial
environments or warehouses, present special challenges for DECT
installations in terms of seamless coverage. Snom offers an effi cient
solution with the M900 multi-cell base station and matching DECT
handsets – both are easy to install and operate.
The implementation of complex VoIP solutions will be even easier as
3CX is incorporating the Snom M900 into its next release.
Mark Wiegleb, Snom’s Head of Interop & Integration, said: “We are
pleased that Snom and 3CX are now able to resolve even more
complex deployments together. The M900 is ideal for very
complicated installations involving hundreds of base stations and
handsets. This is particularly important for customers in the hotel,
healthcare, logistics, and industrial sectors, who operate in complex,
expansive environments.”
compared to April 2020.
• The total number of insolvencies fell by 37%
against May last year.
• 16% of insolvencies came from within the
Construction sector.
The report pointed to high levels of government
intervention as the reason behind the trend. Even
though we have seen some high profi le brands go
under recently, Frankie and Benny’s the latest, it’s
possible these businesses were already teetering
on the edge of insolvency.
PROMPTVOICE OFFERS MORE FREE
MESSAGES TO PARTNERS
COVID19 LOCKDOWN AND
isolation restrictions are being
eased, and businesses are
beginning to re-open. To
supplement the c.100 free
professionally recorded Covid
lockdown messages that
PromptVoice gave away in
March, the specialist provider of
recordings for the telephony
channel has added another 40
messages relevant for
organisations to use as
lockdown eases.
Giving away free Covid
lockdown messages was a
popular initiative, with
PromptVoice partners
including NTA, Elite
Telecom, Telecoms World
and 5Rings downloading
and offering the
lockdown messages to
their customers.
All the recordings can
be downloaded free by
telecoms resellers
(whether existing
PromptVoice partners or
not) to sell or give to
away to their
customers.
Anthony Buxton, CEO
of PromptVoice said,
“Giving away more free IVR
prompt recordings and on-hold
messaging is a continuation of
our efforts to help our resellers
and the wider telephony
community support their
customer base during these
diffi cult coronavirus-affected
times. We hope that this
initiative is a very simple way for
telecoms companies and
resellers to show that a
telephone system can be a very
effective and often underused
communication tool, and not just
technology that routes calls.”
