National Farm Machinery Show
February 12-15, 2020
Kentucky Exposition Center, USA
The National Farm Machinery Show is the USA’s largest indoor agricultural
equipment expo, and in 2020 is predicted to feature more than 900
exhibitors. The annual event enables business professionals from around the
world gain knowledge and hands-on access to various technological
advancements needed for the upcoming farming season during the four-day
show. As well as the exhibition the event also now has a symposium program,
which visitors can attend at no extra cost, as well as well as the nation’s
longest-running tractor pull contest – the Championship Tractor Pull – where
nearly 200 drivers compete in specially modifi ed vehicles in the venue’s
Freedom Hall for a share in US$200,000 of prize money.

Las Vegas Exhibition Convention Center and Festival Grounds, USA
North America’s largest construction trade show only comes around once
every three years, so you won’t want to miss the 2020 edition. Over 2,800
exhibitors are predicted across the fi ve day event, which also promises to host
more than 150 educational sessions. Visitors will be treated to new vehicle
launches form some of the biggest OEMs, and will also be able to fi nd out
about the most innovative new products from leading component suppliers.
And of course, when the show gates close each day at 5pm, fi nding evening
entertainment in Vegas shouldn’t pose too many problems…

Hillhead
June 23-25, 2020
Hillhead Quarry, Buxton, UK
The biennial showcase for the quarrying and
construction industry returns in 2020, and this
is no ordinary expo. Held in a limestone quarry
in Derbyshire, UK, it provides a unique setting
for exhibitors and visitors to do business amidst
the live working demonstrations of construction
and quarrying vehicles, as well as the usual static
displays. There are four demonstration areas in
which visitors can see the machines going about
their work in the live quarry environment
– a feature that adds value for exhibitors and
buyers alike. Hillhead is the largest exhibition of
its kind in the world, and the upcoming event will
follow a record-breaking show in 2018, which
featured 546 exhibitors and an attendance of
nearly 20,000.
Virtualisation of Future Vehicle Engineering
March 25-26, 2020
Ricardo Global HQ, Shoreham-by-Sea, UK
On the other side of The Pond, 10 days after ConExpo,
a smaller, more focused event is taking place at Ricardo
HQ on the south coast of England. Speakers are being
invited to present on a range of subject relating to the
future of vehicle design, as pressure grows to build
complex lower-emission vehicles and reduce development
time and cost through virtualisation. This conference will
explore current trends and future potential developments in the virtualisation of engineering, including
Virtual Product Development (VPD), a design right fi rst-time approach, and more e cient physical
testing by removing hardware stages during the development process. Subjects will include: Integrated
co-simulation; real-time predictive analysis; and complete vehicle systems modeling.
Agritechnica Asia
May 7-9, 2020

(BITEC), Thailand
The third edition of Agritechnica Asia will take place once
again in Bangkok, Thailand, and the three-day exhibition
is a focal point for the largest agricultural buyers from
across the region. The event emphasizes agricultural
engineering solutions that are important to the development of agriculture in the Asian markets and will
focus on how mechanization through modern machinery will increase signifi cantly in the next decade
as a result of growing labor shortages, increased competition and the need to reduce production costs.
Agritechnica Asia runs in conjunction with Horti Asia, the region’s largest trade exhibition for smart
horticulture in Asia, and the special exhibition Systems & Components Asia.
