JCB AERO
INVESTS IN INNOVATION
Serial and prototype aircraft interior equipment supplier, JCB Aero,
is implementing manufacturing execution systems (MES) with
complete digitalisation, as well as robotisation technology, in line
with Industry 4.0. The MES can collect and analyse production
data in real time, which enables quicker, smoother serial
production processes and offers product traceability throughout
the production cycle.
Other news at JCB Aero includes investments in a robotic
six-axis milling machine for high precision on complex surfaces,
and an expansion of its workshops. The company has added more
than 2,500m² of space at its facilities in Auch, France, including
its composites, wallpaper and logistics areas, with a view to
streamlining production. During 2020, JCB Aero expects to be
EN9100 qualified, opening the door for new business.
Expanding on its current range of flat and curved panels,
available in aluminium, phenolic and epoxy glass fibre, JCB Aero
is now in the process of developing a new range of standard
floor boards.
