THE MAX FACTOR
RAS Interiors has developed innovative cabin hardware to help operators ensure
the cabins of B737 Classics and NGs are efficient and attractive
With the Boeing 737 MAX still undergoing
re-certification, many operators of B737
Classics and NGs are looking at ways to
make these aircraft more productive and
to keep them in commercial service
longer than originally envisioned.
London-based RAS Interiors has
proactively produced innovative
solutions that B737 operators and their
customers are finding of value. Cabin
space is always at a premium, so RAS
Interiors has developed its own
significantly slimmer version of the G7
monument located at the front of the
cabin. This modification enables airlines
to increase seating capacity to up to 189
pax places on the older models of B737.
RAS Interiors has also been
completing repairs and modifications
monuments for the B737,
RAS Interiors has invested
in the development its own
standard equipment for the
aircraft. For example, a new
cabin class divider system for
the B737 Classic has been
designed, manufactured and
certified, and the first of three units has
been delivered to an EASA Part 145 MRO.
RAS is also in the process of designing,
manufacturing and certifying, in
accordance with EASA 21J DOA approval,
a G7 windscreen stowage unit.
