(NC) solution” for airline customers.
With double speakers incorporated in the
headsets, the NC solution is claimed to be able
to effectively cancel around 90% of ambient noise
without compromising sound quality, and to have
noise-cancelling performance up to 25dB.
The company is keen to cooperate with more
airlines, which is why the company has decided
to launch new product lines of onboard service
items, made of eco-friendly materials.
To achieve this, Long Prosper plans
to reconstruct the manufacturing
system at its factory in Vietnam,
which mainly manufactures
headsets, as well as the
system at its factory in China,
which focuses on onboard
service items. The company
is hoping that the new
systems will enable it to
offer more competitive prices.

PORTABLE IFEC
According to AirFi, a recent
market survey has found that
two-thirds of all aircraft equipped
with portable wireless IFEC
systems are flying with AirFi
systems.
AirFi has doubled in size year
on year since it launched the
world’s first carry-on IFE system
in 2014, and has now become the
fourth-largest provider of
wireless IFEC systems globally.
CEO Job Heimerikx attributes
the company’s growth – now
serving 80 clients worldwide,
reaching 200 million passengers
a year – to a focus on product
innovation and customer success.
“We have created a unique
holistic approach at AirFi which
puts customers, passengers and
crew at the heart of everything
we do. At APEX Expo we’ll be
showcasing how working
together with customers, we’ve
launched fantastic, gamechanging
new products and
services – like zero-touch crew

lightweight in-flight connectivity
system, and Dance24, our digital
