New silent pack for engines
Motorenfabrik Hatz has
started production of the new
silent pack for the H-Series
three- and four-cylinder engines. The
plug and play solution combines noise
insulation of up to 60% with protection
against contact, rain, dirt or
vandalism. Based on the popular Open
Power Unit (OPU) configuration it is
available from the factory as a complete
and ready-to-install solution for the
3H50TI, 3H50TIC, 3H50TICD, 4H50TI,
4H50TIC and 4H50TICD engine models. In
addition, the silent pack serves to retrofit
existing machines.
The new product, designed from
scratch, offers decisive advantages for
both machine manufacturers and
operators. The capsule’s low weight of
less than 100kgs particularly supports
manufacturers who have to keep their
machines as light as possible. The new
development made it possible to reduce
the overall space requirement by
more than 10% compared with
the previous generation
from Hatz.
The new silent pack
by Hatz also ensures
maximum ease of service.
The maintenance cover is
quick and easy to remove,
and provides userfriendly
access to all
relevant service points
of the unit.
Hatz engineers have decades of
experience in the development of silent
packs. They have succeeded in making
the power packages of the liquid-cooled
H-series more silent using encapsulation
– without any loss in performance.
