Thriving in extreme
conditions
FASTER
FASTER WILL USE CONEXPO TO DEMONSTRATE ITS PRODUCT RANGE AND OPEN
DIALOGUE ON THE POTENTIAL OF NEW TECHNOLOGY
Faster, a global leader in quick-release hydraulic
couplings, is preparing for ConExpo with a series
of new and exciting products and concepts.
ConExpo is like a prestigious gala where all the
players will be at the top of their game. As such, Faster
will arrive dressed in its finest attire alongside its sister
companies, Sun Hydraulics and Enovation Controls.
Being part of the Helios Technologies Group, the three
companies will share the exhibition space.
Goals
Faster’s proposal for ConExpo 2020 will be built to
achieve three specific goals: to emphasize the richness
of the product portfolio with special attention to heavy
applications; to introduce several new products and
range evolutions and to keep the dialogue about
innovation alive, through a new user experience.
Well-known in North America and beyond for its
multi-connections (MultiFasters) and cast-iron blocks
dedicated to compact loaders, Faster is also able to
support the needs of heavy equipment. A large area
of the booth will be dedicated to the screw-to-connect
couplings lines, set in an escalation of performances
and applications.
Robust
The main series of this family of products is the FHV, the
first and only one equipped with safety sleeve and
designed for the most extreme conditions in terms of
pressures, flows and ergonomics. Faster has plenty of
news about this series. In addition to its starter version,
the company will introduce new versions FHV HD
(dedicated to high frequency of pressure impulses), FHV
IP (ingress protection 54 certification), FHV ET (Extended
Temperature, up to 120 ° C - 248 °F) and FHV K (short
version, dedicated to undercarriage). All these versions
are interchangeable with each other.
Commonality
All versions of FHV offer a safety sleeve against
accidental unscrewing due to vibration. A patented
bearing system and the profile of the male-female
connection threads, both designed to ensure maximum
comfort in the screwing operation, also feature in all
versions, as does the ability to connect without the use
of any tool except your own hands even in presence of
high residual pressures. The ability to work with oil flows

also feature.
Era of change
Beside displaying new products, Faster also intends to
take on the challenge of this new era of tremendous
technological changes. Changes that are affecting all
aspects of the market, from machines to services.
In a dedicated area of the booth it will be possible for
the visitors to try a brand new and smart experience of
connection. It will be an opportunity to open a dialogue
on the possibilities and the potential use of new
technologies applied to a product that has been purely
mechanical so far, a chance to open new doors for a
technological innovation based on the specific features
of the hydraulic coupling and its insertion in the chain of
components of a typical fleet of machines for
construction equipment.
Finally, Faster will also put on display its most popular
series such as the MultiFaster, the blocks with integrated
management of residual and trapped pressures, face-flat
connections, diagnostic, unidirectional and refrigeration
couplings. iVT
