4 CAN BE APPLIED TO ENDURALITE
The company has established itself as
a global leader in innovation when it
comes to addressing the technical and
design needs of customers.
“We look to similar industries for
product development, including technical
advances and designs. By staying
concentrated on the aerospace market,
we are able to generate new ideas and
solutions as our customers need them.
We have a knowledgeable and focused
development and design team that prides
themselves on staying up to date on
market trends and news,” explains Marc
Cognetti, Perrone’s VP of marketing.
“EnduraLite was developed as a
result of following textile trends and
developments over the years. This
synthetic product has solved an
immediate need, but it doesn’t mean
we have stopped looking ahead. We
will continue to follow global trends in
material developments as they evolve.”
DESIGN AND CUSTOMISATION
Perrone has leveraged its years of leather
manufacturing and finishing experience to
develop EnduraLite for seating upholstery
and MonuLite for OSU 65/65 applications.
The textures and grains found on both
products have been adapted from
Perrone’s genuine leathers, while their
proprietary colour printing process
continues to evolve with the market.
“There are many ways to finish leather,
and while not all of them translate to

4. INTERESTING STITCHING EFFECTS
“Our time and resources are spent
listening to customer’s feedback and
needs. We focus on the aviation market
and developing our products to create
solutions,” says Cognetti.
“Feedback of the first generation of
EnduraLite after it was launched led
us to redevelop the backing cloth used
in seating. The second generation of
EnduraLite was created with a woven
aramid backing material that is even
lighter than the original EnduraLite
product and provides a more dimensionally
stable seating material.”

service team has dedicated accounts,
