 WOENSDRECHT,   
 THE NETHERLANDS 
 Gogo’s 2Ku is being installed as part of   
 a green ACJ319neo completion at Fokker  
 Techniek for customer K5-Aviation. 
 NUREMBERG, GERMANY 
 The FAA has approved FAI Technik’s EASA  
 Part 145 licence, enabling it to offer MRO on  
 USA-registered business aircraft. FAI Technik  
 recently started work on its sixth Global  
 Express refurbishment, Project Pearl, which  
 will encompass 60-, 120- and 240-month  
 inspections, as well as the installation of  
 Collins Aerospace’s Venue CMS and HD IFE. 
 GENEVA, SWITZERLAND 
 A Falcon 900DX was equipped with Gogo  
 Avance L5 during a cabin upgrade at Ruag. 
 BASEL, SWITZERLAND 
 Jet Aviation installed Ka-band during  
 refurbishments on a BBJ 747 and two GIVs.  
 For the BBJ, Jet Aviation upgraded the cabin,  
 installed wireless AVOD and developed STCs  
 for ADS-B Out and WLAN activation. 
 The GIV projects involved work on the veneer,  
 soft materials and other surfaces. Both the  
 GIVs were enhanced with DU-885 LCDs, FANS  
 1A, SBB upgrades and ADS-B Out. 
 The company also installed Ka-band on G550  
 and G650 types, and Jeremie Caillet was  
 appointed as the new vice president of VIP  
 completion programmes.

 BASEL, SWITZERLAND 
 AMAC Aerospace is building a fifth hangar,  
 which will mainly be used for maintenance  
 work on Bombardier and other mid-size  
 aircraft, from the second quarter of 2020. 
 The company has two green completions in  
 progress – the first ACJ320neo for Acropolis  
 Aviation and a BBJ 747-8i for a head of state. 
 AMAC also signed two customers for Boeing  
 737 Max completions and unveiled an ACJ350  
 concept developed with Pininfarina. 
 OBERPFAFFENHOFEN,  
 GERMANY 
 A Challenger 850 owned by VistaJet  
 underwent a full cabin refurbishment at  
 Ruag, making use of a scheduled MRO event.  
 WICHITA, KANSAS 
 Air Capital Interiors added an upholstery  
 shop, expanded cabinetry shop, extra paint  
 and upholstery spray booth, expanded  
 sanding booth, a dedicated finishing area   
 and additional final assembly stations. 
 FORT WORTH, TEXAS 
 Two BBJ 787s have been redelivered to   
 a head-of-state customer by GDC Technics,  
 following the installation of VVIP cabins. 
 The aircraft were equipped with ARINC 791  
 Ka-band, Iridium, satcom and satellite   
 TV antennas, as well as exterior cameras   
 and O2 discharge ports. 
 SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS 
 Aeria Luxury Interiors refurbished a charter  
 BBJ 737; a program that included a partial  
 reconfiguration of the aft cabin, as well as  
 work to wood surfaces, seat and interior  
 panels, the installation of faux wood flooring  
 and new carpet. Highlights of the 18-seat jet  
 include automated hi-lo tables featuring  
 stained quarter-rift white oak with satin  
 nickel plating, and stingray leather. 
 The company also secured two maintenance  
 contracts, for Boeing 767 and 737 jets. 
 INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA 
 Comlux designed and completed its first VIP  
 wide-body cabin – an ACJ330. The aircraft  
 accommodates 31 passengers in various  
 master suites, lounges, a dining area and  
 first-class seating area. There is also a gym  
 room and an entertainment area featuring   
 a 52in curved OLED monitor.

 SINGAPORE 
 Flying Colours Corp Asia renewed its contract  
 to provide interior services at Bombardier’s  
 service centre at Seletar Airport. With new  
 Bombardier facilities expected to be  
 operational in 2020, Flying Colours’ expansion  
 plans include extending the workshop area,  
 adding two more climate-controlled spray  
 booths, and increasing the workforce. 
 Flying Colours Corp Asia also has a new  
 general manager, Too Hin Wee, as Paul
