 MODERN
 COMFORTS
The biggest challenge was getting the
balance right between the 1920s inspiration
 and modern comforts and conveniences
 – which include new seats, LED lighting
and motorised window shades that can be
 controlled through the CMS.
“Artisans are inspired by the world around
them and use the past, the present and
ideas of the future to create interiors that
transcend time and capture the beauty of
 craftsmanship,” says McCool. “The enhanced
functionality combined with the cohesive art
deco inspiration makes this interior a perfect
 setting for travelling the world.”

 MATERIALS
The designers could not be accused of sticking to the
standard. Two hair-on-hide leathers from Townsend
Leather add texture to the kibitzers and ottoman, in
Jaguar-print and Exotic Light Grey, respectively. The
two-tone seats feature Moore and Giles’ Papillon
in Lace and Townsend Leather’s Classic Cowhide
in Outerbanks. The latter is also used for the divan
armrests, while the divan’s main fabric is Brentano
in Tamara Mink, from Aircraft Interior Products.
Other materials include Kalogridis’ Deconel with
Vanilla Cream Ultraleather from Tapis for the window
line and Tapis’ China White Ultraleather for the
headliner, while latticework leather sidewalls were
created using Townsend Leather’s Gaufrage in Modern
 Rustic Chocolate.
The cabin was finished with a Corian Cottage Lane
 countertop in Cinnabar.
 The ottoman can be
 stowed below the screen
 in the cabin’s
 entertainment zone
