 The G650s also feature the six-place conference  
 area. “In addition, we have the latest multimedia  
 equipment, Ka-band wi-fi and a large HD monitor   
 in the centre of the aircraft,” says Michaels. 
 Michaels says there is no typical mission in the  
 fractional industry. “Our G650 may be used to fly   
 from New York to Florida, just a fraction of what it   
 is capable of,” he explains. “But then it may fly from  
 Florida to Hong Kong. The aircraft can handle any  
 flight request, and we crew and equip it to  
 accommodate those requests.” 
 NOT TOO OUT-THERE 
 The interiors need to be flexible, have enough storage  
 for bed linen and other amenities, and appeal to a wide  
 variety of people. Michaels says it is possible to do the  
 latter without being dull. “Our idea of a bespoke  
 interior is not a standard look,” he says. “However,   
 we are careful not to create an interior that is too wild,  
 so that we don’t offend anyone. Sometimes customers  
 ask for the last aircraft they flew in because they liked  
 it so much. In the fractional business, we can’t always  
 guarantee that, so we must ensure that every aircraft   
 is appealing. We’ve had many compliments from  
 customers, some of whom happen to be well-known  
 clothing designers and so forth. That shows us we’ve  
 made the aircraft sufficiently different, but we haven’t
