CASE IH MAGNUM 400 CONNECT
Case IH will be giving a European show debut at
Agritechnica to its most powerful new tractor o ering,
the Magnum 400 Connect, the latest addition to its
agship Magnum AFS Connect series. With a
maximum power of up to 435hp, the 400 is Case IH’s
most powerful conventional tractor. While externallyobvious
changes include a full-length door and new
styling and lighting, the most signi cant upgrades are
inside the cab and the tractor itself, resulting in a
machine that helps the operator and owner to manage
farming operations with new levels of precision.
e 400 features an 8.7-litre FPT Industrial
Cursor9 six-cylinder turbocharged and intercooled
engine which uses the latest FPT Hi-eSCR2 technology
to meet EU Stage V emissions legislation. Within the
engine are 13 patented developments including a new
catalyst which results in cleaner combustion. e
tractor has a rear li capacity of up to 11,700kg while
li capacity of the front hitch, where tted, is 4,090kg.

set out to research and understand what users today
are looking for in this class and size of tractor,
spending time with farmers across the world to
maximize our understanding of their needs and
requirements,” says Brad Lukac, Case IH gtlobal
product manager for Magnum. “ e result is a range
that recognizes the broad needs of farmers across
those regions.”
e new 400 is available in Wheeled, Rowtrac or
Scraper con gurations.
