AGRITECHNICA HITCHES & COUPLINGS
HITCH UPGRADES BOOST EFFICIENCY AND SAFETY
CBM has recently designed an updated version of its
Ø80mm Ball Trailer Hitch coupling system that can be
used both for a quick and safe vertical adjustment on a
trailer hitch slider frame and for a fi xed application.
The latest product comprises of a Ø80 mm ball on a
fi xed plate that is fi tted to a slider unit. When used as a
slider device, this system allows the operator to set the
desired working height quickly and simply as its height
positioning is obtained by using the ergonomic handle.
To regulate the position of the slider device in the
frame, it is suffi cient to rotate the control handle
counterclockwise to free the blocking pins to position the
hitch at the desired working height and release the lever.
The control handle can be turned with one hand only,
making it possible to use the other one to position the
trailer hitch at the desired working height in a safe and
comfortable way.
If instead it is necessary to use the Ø80mm ball in a
fi xed position, it is only necessary to unscrew the Ø80mm
ball on fi xed plate from the slider unit and to fi t it where
needed. This new system is homologated for both the
slider and fi xed use for tractors up to 300HP.
Innovation has always been a winning formula for CBM
and this is offered to the OEM tractor manufacturers and
end-users through its wide range of products. CBM’s
intention is to provide end-users with a resistant and
reliable product and the Ø80mm ball quick adjusting
support successfully achieves this.

IMPROVED HEMISPHERIC BALL COUPLINGS
LH Lift Oy is unveiling its innovative hemispheric ball
coupling for three point linkages at Agritechnica. LH Lift
received the AGCO Corporation’s Innovation Award for
its hemispheric ball coupling and other innovations in
March 2019. LH Lift has been a supplier for AGCO’s
Valtra brand for over 40 years.
Hemispheric ball couplings are more durable, easier
to manufacture and easier to use than traditional ball
ends. The traditional method is to machine a cavity in
the ball end, insert the ball and then enclose the ball by
compressing the metal around it. LH Lift’s innovation
utilizes two hemispheric balls that are inserted into a
tempered ball seat, allowing the use of signifi cantly
stronger materials. The hemispheric ball coupling is
now in series production on lower link arms and lift
rods for the Valtra T Series. In addition, it can also be
used on top links.
“Three point linkages have changed little in
a decade,” says Kari Piltonen, managing director of LH
Lift. “This is why our hemispheric ball solution for
attaching implements has attracted a lot of attention.”
LH Lift is a family-owned company with factories in
Finland and China. LH Lift is a proud OEM supplier to
Valtra, Massey Ferguson, John Deere and other
manufacturers in Europe, China and South America.
Meet LH Lift at Agritechnica.
