 NEW COOLERPLANT BOOST
After the state-of-the-art machinery was fully equipped and stabilization
of the production processes successfully completed, KTR recently
started to manufacture the fi rst series of its hydraulic coolers on its new
plant in Jiaxing, located about 100km southwest of Shanghai, China.
Roughly 200 tons of aluminum is to be turned into high-quality
hydraulic coolers. These will be used as multi-medium coolers in
construction or agricultural machinery, or as oil and air coolers in
stationary hydraulics. The completed units will take up 9,000m2 of the
 new manufacturing every month.
Nicola Warning, CEO at KTR, says, “We are in a position to produce
small batches via highly automated processes, at a consistently high
quality level in this plant. A prerequisite is the close cooperation of
design engineers at KTR’s headquarters with the manufacturing
specialists in Jiaxing. The engineering of the high-performance
coolers takes place in Rheine, Germany, now as before. This applies
for custom-made products, just as for standard solutions.”

 NEW PUMPS NOW AVAILABLE
 Ace Pump Corporation recently announced
the addition of six new pulse-width
modulated (PWM) pumps to its growing
product line. The new models include four
equipped with Ace Pump’s Oasis WetSeal
 Technology for superior protection against
 run-dry pump failure.
“These additions to our PWM product line
provide higher fl ow and pressure capabilities
coupled with the reliability of our Max Series
and the Oasis WetSeal Technology for the
 most demanding applications,” says Andy
Randle, CEO of Ace Pump Corporation.
The new models are designed for use on
 closed-center hydraulic systems. The
 pump-and-valve combination is matched for
 quick-response rate changes with constant
 or variable rate applications. Additionally,
the controller and valve adjust automatically
for changes in-fl ow demand, application rate
 or application speed. Features and
specifi cations of the new PWM pumps
include: A 12V proportional valve with
 industry standard Deutsch DT04-2P
 connector; compatibility with most
 PWM controllers; proportional manual
 override for emergency situations or
 troubleshooting; and integrated valve design
that simplifi es mounting by eliminating the
need for a separate valve manifold and
 additional hoses.
You can fi nd out more about the new Ace
PWM pumps and the complete Ace Pump
product line at Agritechnica, where the
company will be exhibiting on the Agrotop
 stand, their German distributor.
