AT&T STADIUM
 Location: Arlington, Texas, US
 Capacity: 80,000 (expandable to 105,000)
Tenants: Dallas Cowboys (NFL), Cotton Bowl Classic (NCAA)
 Opened: May 2009
The Dallas Cowboys are one of the most iconic sporting brands in the
world and AT&T stadium had to balance its storied heritage with an
ambition to deliver an innovative facility for its future. The result is a
US$1.15bn venue that, a decade later, is still a bold benchmark in stadium
 design excellence.
The stadium covers three-million square feet (68-acres) and its playing
field sits beneath a domed roof that is supported by 14,100 tons of
structural steel. It is 299ft (91m) at its highest point and has two winged
arches that span 1,289ft (393m). At the time of opening it was the world’s
longest single span roof structure. It features two colossal canted 800ft
(244m) glass walls that frame its interior and open at either end of its
entry plazas. The stadium was also the first structure to
 accommodate a 10,800ft² (1,000m2) jumbotron video screen
and house an art collection worthy of a museum. This,
coupled with a more compact greater seating
 capacity, redefined what fans expect
 from an NFL gameday experience.
